The Malachi House Update
We are celebrating the Ribbon Cutting of The Malachi House on October 29, 2025. This is truly special and emotion to us all. This joyous occasion marks the culmination of a three-year building journey, and it's a moment we've eagerly anticipated.
The Malachi House is a 2-story, 6,000 sf community center in the heart of the community we have been serving for ten years. The center has classrooms, kitchen, laundry room, offices and space to have community and family events. There is still work to be done, so your continual support is appreciated as we build out The Malachi House various classrooms. The computer lab will significantly benefit both our middle and high school students, as well as parents in the local neighborhood.
This new facility will serve as a vital community resource. For our students, it will provide essential access to technology and support their academic development. For parents in the neighborhood, we will offer valuable programs focused on teaching basic computer skills, assisting with resume building, and providing crucial financial literacy education.
We are prayerfully seeking partners to assist us in the following current needs:
Workshop: $ 25,000.00
(This includes a carpentry design and construction training space, as well as a walk-in freezer.)
Computer Lab: $ 10,000.00
Classroom (K-2nd Grade): $ 5,000.00
Classroom (3rd-5th Grade): $ 5,000.00
Media/Photography Classroom: $ 10,500.00
Total: $ 55,500.00
