Malachi House

We joyfully celebrated the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of The Malachi House on Oct 29, 2025. This momentous occasion was deeply special, moving, and emotional for our entire community, leadership team, and supporters. The event marks the triumphant culmination of a dedicated three-year planning and building journey, fulfilling a long-awaited vision and moment we have all eagerly anticipated with great expectation.

 

The newly dedicated 6,000-square-foot, two-story, debt-free facility located at 312 Rogers Street serves as a vital anchor in the heart of the McDonough Housing Authority neighborhood. Beyond serving as a modern physical space, The Malachi House stands as a beacon of hope, community outreach, and spiritual growth. It offers a safe, nurturing environment designed specifically to support, mentor, and empower local at-risk youth and their families for generations to come. 

 

Services administered within this multipurpose facility comprise of instructional classrooms, a culinary facility, laundry accommodations, and administrative suites.

The center incorporates a dedicated computer laboratory, equipping middle and high school students with the necessary technological resources for academic achievement. In addition to youth services, specialized initiatives are provided for parents, focusing on financial literacy, professional resume development, and foundational computer instruction.
