At the beginning of every school year, The River Refuge sponsors a Back Pack and Prayer in which children receive book bags filled with school supplies. This evangelistic outreach gives us an opportunity to share school supplies with the children while praying for them and their families.  Each year we donate filled back packs to over 500 kids. 

We partner with a number of community partners in order for this event to be a success. As with all other projects we need volunteers to help with all aspects of the event from setting up to serving where needed during the event.

 

You can donate $65 per child to cover the cost of backpack.
