BACK 2 SCHOOL BASHAt the beginning of every school year The River Refuge sponsors the Back-to-School Bash in which children receive book bags filled with school supplies. This project gives us an opportunity to share the best teaching practices through love through and fun filled activities and sharing meals.
We partner with a number of community partners in order for this event to be a success. As with all other projects we need volunteers to help with all aspects of the event from setting up to serving where needed during the event. You can donate $65 per child to cover the cost of meals, school materials, and amusement activities. |
